She wanted to do the same for other readers. T.L. even wrote Fantasy and Sci-Fi stories for her school classmates.

Themes include transformation and identity, exploring how characters change physically and emotionally, often through supernatural means like shifters and other beings. Good vs. Evil is a deep dive into the moral complexities of characters, both human and non-human, as they navigate through the good and the bad. Romance is a thread of love and connection that adds emotional stakes, bringing characters closer or creating tension in the midst of conflict. Mystery and Discovery, uncovering hidden truths and untangling mysteries about characters, origins, the world they live in, or forces at play. Originally from Jersey City, T.L. had to detour from writing because her family didn’t believe in it as a career. She worked in healthcare for many years. She was in an accident that left her with tendonitis in her hands and wrists, rheumatoid arthritis, and then fibromyalgia, plus she developed severe eosinophilic asthma that prevented her from working. As the years passed, T.L. kept having dreams about her people and their stories, and when she was home, her stories came to her more frequently.  One of her sisters, Yolanda, convinced her she could still pursue her passion for writing. T.L. honed her skills in the elements of creative writing. Due to her medical conditions, she types with her two index fingers and dictates to write her stories.

T.L. has three sons, K, J, and CJ, a daughter-in-law, J, and is Nani to three beautiful granddaughters, K, J, and I. She loves creating and cooking new recipes and directs her two younger sons to cook. She is passionate about reading Urban Fantasy and Romance, binge-watching shows on Netflix, watching movies, Food network TV Shows, and HGTV home shows. T.L. loves the HGTV renovation shows, seeing the hosts transform horrible, broken-down houses into beautiful homes. She enjoys the shows where clients buy houses with crazy good or bad budgets. She can laugh until she’s coughing or crying while watching her shows on Netflix. T.L. is Sweet and Spicy, an exotic treat in her personality and cooking. T.L. lives in Tennessee with her two younger sons and her bestie, Tina.
